For so long I have been searching for something like this...I had a more expensive product before that was similar but overall I cannot get enough of the mineral glow! It's a beatifully sheer golden color that I use as a highlight on my face and I brush a little along my collar bones & chest area when I'm wearing something open & it gives me a gorgeous all day glow!

Babushka's Beauty Secrets Review & Giveaway

I was so thrilled when I received this book to review. Just last week I wrote a post naming some great natural Beauty Tips from Mom where I listed great little natural things my mom has taught me over the years. This book falls perfectly along the same lines, it's a natural beauty goldmine! 

The pages are filled with great at home recipes to keep you looking fabulous. What I like best is the fact that there are options for everyone in this book; face masks for oily skin, for dry skin, hair masques for dry hair, limp hair, dandruff and so much more! 

The book has a great list of 'things you'll need', most of which you can find in your kitchen and quick recipes that are easy to follow. All the pages are filled with great little tips, tricks and anecdotes.

Hot Summer Swim Style

I am here to show you some one-piece swim wear that is cute & dare I say sexy too!

The LOOK for LESS: Cute Summer Wedges

Last night I was browsing the net on my hunt for cute Summer wedges and I absolutely fell in love with these cute Steve Madden leather sling back wedges.

Retailing at $90.00 for the moment, these are out of my league!


So, continuing on my hunt I remembered a cute pair of boots I wanted back in high school. They were over $200 and my mom told me to just 'put the energy out in the universe' and be patient, of course at the time I was like 'but moooom!' And sure enough she was right! A few days later I found a pair almost identical (of a different brand) at Ross for $40.


I've been wanting to order something from AMI Clubwear for quite some time and imagine my surprise when browsing their collection of wedges, I found these for $19.99!

Since my birthday is coming up in a few weeks I've put a couple of things in my shopping cart. My hubby doesn't take 'hints' well, I'll just send him the wishlist! :)

Summer Beauty DIY: Your BEST Tinted Moisturizer

Summer is here, and with hot weather, you're going to want to ease up on the makeup.


Tinted moisturizer is a hot Summer makeup beauty item because it's light and clean.


Summer makeup needs to be natural, and since your skin tone will most likely get darker here's a great way to look great all season!


I love Revlon's Custom Creations  because you can truly customize your color!


I generally don't use liquid foundation because I have oily skin, but this little 'recipe' is great for all skin types!


1. Get your favorite daily moisturizer. (Ideally you should be using something made for your skin type! If not, now's a great time to find something to address your skin's needs. Be sure it has at least SPF15.) I use Proactiv Oil Free Moisturizer, I like it because it's light and keeps my skin oil free. 


2. Use your own liquid foundation, or if you'd like to try the Revlon Custom creations, I totally recommend it so that you can make your own custom shade each day!


Note* Use no more than a pea-sized amount of each product. (The idea is to keep it light. If you need coverage then use the same amount of each, but if not you can use a smaller amount of foundation than moisturizer.)


3. Blend the 2 products on the back of your hand and apply to your face.


4. You can use a translucent powder to set your makeup when you're done. Just apply a very light dusting.


5. All done! Pop on some blush & bronzer for a fabulous glowing Summer look!
